1860’s Ontario Cottage style stone house:
- Complete exterior repoint
- Stone replacements
- Sections of re-built stone work
Solid Masonry fully repointed the house. Like so many stone homes in the area in the 70’s – 80’s the joints in the stone work were all towelled over with very hard mortar locking in moisture and causing deterioration of mortar and stone. Many area of the house needed stone replacements or had loose stones which needed to be re-laid. Many more area required deep void pointing to fill the empty spaces in the stone work.
The building has now been restored to its original beauty and will remain for generations to come.
